Privacy
Kith is provided by KAIlie Tech Ltd. This page explains what information Kith uses and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Your email address when you create an account.
- Your onboarding choices, including the relevant care jurisdiction, situation, living arrangement, and what support is already in place.
- Your plan progress and Ask Kith conversations.
- Limited product events, such as completing onboarding or marking an action done. These events do not contain names, email addresses, questions, or medical details.
- Essential technical information used for authentication, security, and reliable operation.
Kith is not designed to store diagnoses, medical records, financial account details, addresses, or other private medical or financial information. Please do not enter these details into Ask Kith.
How we use the information
- To create, save, and display your care plan.
- To answer process questions in the context of your jurisdiction and plan.
- To secure accounts, prevent misuse, and operate the service.
- To understand whether people complete onboarding and make progress through their plans.
We process account and plan information to provide the service you request. We use limited operational and product information where necessary for our legitimate interests in securing and improving Kith, while minimising what we collect.
Who processes the information
We use service providers to operate Kith:
- Supabase provides authentication and database hosting.
- Vercel hosts the application.
- Anthropic processes Ask Kith questions and the limited plan context needed to answer them.
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Providers may process information outside the UK or European Economic Area under the safeguards in our agreements with them.
How long we keep it
Anonymous plans are automatically deleted after 30 days. Account plans, progress, and conversations are kept while your account remains open. Deleting your account permanently deletes the account and its plans, progress, and conversations. Providers may retain limited security or operational logs for their own documented retention periods.
Essential browser storage
Kith uses essential authentication cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and connect your browser to the correct plan. We do not use advertising cookies.
Your choices and rights
You can delete your account and all saved plans from the account page. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of your personal information.
To make a privacy request, email customercare@kithcare.org. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the data-protection authority where you live.
